How it works
All values are editable examples, not industry benchmarks. Use one currency and consistent fabric units. Quantity means finished saleable pieces; per-piece costs must absorb reject / rework costs, or add those costs under Other. Fabric allowance is an addition to base consumption (5% means base x 1.05), not a yield-loss calculation. Do not count the same labour, processing, delivery or overhead twice. Batch cost = fabric + trims + labour + processing + packaging + overhead + delivery + other + contingency. Target price = unit cost / (1 - target margin / 100); margin differs from markup. Profit assumes every finished piece sells at the entered net price. Excludes financing and income tax unless entered under costs. Cash investment and investor profit sharing are separate calculations.
