Use one currency. Total investment per unit = fabric + CM + other costs per unit. Total batch investment = total investment per unit x quantity. Total profit = (selling price per unit - fabric per unit - CM per unit - other costs per unit) x quantity. Your profit = your total investment / total batch investment x total profit. This calculator treats the full manufacturing cost as the total investment; it is not deducted twice. Total batch costs must be greater than zero. Your total investment must not exceed total batch investment. Assumes every produced unit sells and profit is shared proportionally to capital. Include each expense once; divide any batch-only expense by quantity before adding it to Other costs per unit. Negative profit shows proportional losses as a scenario; actual loss obligations depend on your agreement. ROI is for this order, not annualized. Zero personal investment gives zero profit and N/A ROI.
